"Xynn? On Friday Michael Winter performanced him in Ringelai. The Xynn-Show is a two-hours lasting, multimedial birthday cake, which sometimes seems to be condensed by a pneumatic hammer. It strains all senses up to the extreme point - but it stimulates them, too! And it tastes well until it feels like you will explode.
Xynn is Michael Winter, is the embodiment of his nightmares and dreams, his visions, his critism of the world. A song-book of rock for the ears, unbearable video scenes because of their concentrated power and right in the midst is Xynn, who also has to be a quick-change artist to adapt his look (18 dresses) to the tearing changing sequences.
In the beginning of the 80`s Xynn toured through Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands ... a rehashed revival? As long as the world and the human race will exist, the Xynn-show won´t loose anything of its actuality.
Either as a pantomime or as a singer, who has fallen into decay, as a astronaut or a musician, who sings ballads of the intact world - fascination and disillusionment by illusion: Not only does Winter handle with effects of light and noise and without restraints, but he works with the emotions of the audience as well.
Winter said after the first night: "I just went on as I did before"
